Driven to inspire, Mike Kersten offers a unique perspective and promising environmental alternative to Atlanta transportation services as founder of Elite Green Car, Atlanta’s first eco-friendly chauffeured transportation company.
Both business savvy and technically sophisticated, Kersten has spent his results-charged career directing large-scale domestic and international sales and IT operations for global technology companies generating $13.9B in annual sales. Industry clients have included BellSouth Corporation, Cingular Wireless, AT&T Wireless, AOL/Time Warner, Alltel, MCI, Digex, UUNET, Bank of America, Citibank, Coca-Cola and FedEx. Sun Microsystems named Kersten Top America’s Strategic Sales Executive three years in a row, where he achieved the President’s Club for seven consecutive years.
An entrepreneur since high school, Kersten launched and sold two businesses prior to co-founding Elite Transportation Services with his wife Julie Kersten in 2006, one of Atlanta’s premier ground transportation and charter jet services. As a certified pilot, avid outdoorsman and father of two, Kersten was concerned about Atlanta’s environmental stresses including poor air quality and pollution, and decided to “fuel” his passion for the planet by launching Elite Green Car in 2007.
Providing the first eco-friendly ground transportation services in Atlanta, Elite Green Car combines expected luxury with environmental responsibility. The friendly and knowledgeable Eco-Chauffeurs offer a reliable and responsible ride as XM NavTraffic and Global Positioning System allow already fuel-efficient cars to travel the most efficient routes, minimizing toxic emissions. Understanding the needs of the business traveler, the luxury hybrid vehicles of the Elite Green Car fleet are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including WiFi services, Sirius Satellite Radio, DVD, CD and surround sound capabilities.
